Deprecation Reminders - August 14, 2024

Deprecated SP-API resources are no longer in active development. Calls to deprecated SP-API resources will continue to be successful until their removal date. After the removal date, calls will fail. For more detailed information about SP-API deprecation dates, refer to the Deprecations table.

Update: 400 Error Response Message for rotateApplicationClientSecret

The Application Management API v2023-11-30 rotateApplicationClientSecret operation now returns the correct 400 error response message when an application is not enrolled for rotation notification.

Update: Vendor Orders API Now Supports Variable Weight Products

The Vendor Orders API v1 includes a new unitOfMeasure variable to support variable weight products. This variable provides the unit of measure for prices of items sold by weight. If this field is absent, the item is sold by eaches. Operations that return this variable include:

The Inventory feed type POST_INVENTORY_AVAILABILITY_DATA Quantity attribute applies only to inventory that is fulfilled by the seller.

Starting August 14, 2024, the getItemEligibilityPreview operation will have a new inbound ineligibility enum value, FBA_INB_0342. This value provides more information on why an offer can't use certain manufacturer barcodes. FBA_INB_0342 provides the following message:

Update: Changes to EU Amazon Contracting Party in Amazon Services API Developer Agreement
