October 2022 SP-API Release Announcement

Notification and reports schemas now available on GitHub

We are introducing JSON schemas for reports in the schemas folder of our selling-partner-api-models GitHub repository. Make sure to watch this repo to be notified as we expand our published collection of JSON schemas.

Amazon Shipping API v2 now available in JP Marketplace for Yamato Buy Shipping Services

We have enabled Amazon Shipping API v2 for the JP marketplace! The Amazon Shipping API (Shipping API) is designed to support outbound shipping use cases both for orders originating on Amazon-owned marketplaces as well as external channels/marketplaces. In the JP marketplace, we provide Buy Shipping Services in partner with Yamato Transport. Buy Shipping with Yamato is available for orders on Amazon if a seller’s shipping source and delivery destination are within Japan.

With this API, you can request shipping rates, create shipments, cancel shipments, and track shipments. For details about operations and associated data types and schemas, refer to the Shipping API v2 reference . For more information about Yamato Buy Shipping Services, refer to Yamato shipping services and restrictions.

API Changes

Notifications API

The Notifications API v1 includes the new FBA_INVENTORY_AVAILABILITY_CHANGES notification. This notification is sent whenever there is a change in the Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) inventory, and includes a snapshot of the FBA inventory in all eligible marketplaces in a particular region.

Reports API

The updated Sales and Traffic Business Report GET_SALES_AND_TRAFFIC_REPORT now includes B2B traffic data regarding traffic originating from Amazon Business customers. As of 08/28/2022 B2B conversion metrics have changed to use the new B2B traffic data. Data before 08/28/2022 is set to zero to avoid confusion. This report is available to sellers who have the Brand Analytics Selling Partner API role.

The new Subscribe and Save Performance Report GET_FBA_SNS_PERFORMANCE_DATA provides a trailing four-week view of items shipped, percentage of orders missed due to being out of stock, average post-discount sale price, and average discount for each SKU. This report is available for FBA sellers.

The new Subscribe and Save Forecasting Report GET_FBA_SNS_FORECAST_DATA provides an eight-week forecast of sales based on existing subscriptions and sales history. This report is available for FBA sellers.

Best regards,

The Selling Partner API team
