New: Announcing Solution Provider Portal (SPP) to streamline third-party solution provider experience
As of February 3, 2025, you can use the Solution Provider Portal (SPP)––a dedicated platform for third-party developers and service providers––to onboard and manage your business with Amazon.
SPP will replace Seller Central and Vendor Central effective August 31, 2025. To continue using SP-API after this date, you must migrate your solutions and accounts to SPP.
What is SPP?
SPP is a centralized platform where developers and service providers can build solutions for Amazon partners. SP-API developers can consolidate their developer accounts, applications, and profiles into a single, unified account. This consolidation streamlines your administration and provides advanced capabilities to manage and grow your business. SPP will be the dedicated platform to build, scale, and optimize your SP-API integrations. Additionally, SPP will serve as the destination for third-party service providers to register (which includes identity verification and data qualification), onboard, and list services, replacing the functions that were previously handled by Service Provider Central (SP Central).
SPP offers:
- An independent environment for managing solution provider business
- An API usage dashboard for improved integration efficiency for SP-API developers
- User permissions for solution provider organizational-level account access management
Who is affected?
This change impacts third-party SP-API developers and service providers who offer applications and services for Amazon’s business partners, such as sellers, vendors, supply chain partners, and off-Amazon merchants.
No immediate action is required for existing service providers.
What action is required?
-
Existing SP-API developers: You must migrate to SPP. When you log into Seller Central or Vendor Central, you will get a guided migration workflow (Seller Central → Develop Apps; Vendor Central → API Integrations).
-
New SP-API developers: You will register directly on SPP to manage their integrations, access the sandbox, create and list applications, and review usage metrics.
-
Existing service providers: You will be migrated through manual outreach, with no immediate impact on your accounts or service listings.
-
New service providers: Your registration will be completed directly through SPP.
-
All users: Review the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement.
