New metrics added to the FBA Manage Inventory Health Report for the US marketplace

On December 5, 2023, we launched three new metrics on the FBA Manage Inventory Health Report. The report is available for sellers and API integrators to pull via API. This change applies to the US marketplace.

The fba-minimum-inventory-level metric helps FBA sellers plan inventory levels more effectively, improve delivery speeds, and help them to avoid the recently announced low-inventory-level fee.

The historical-days-of-supply metric allows sellers to identify products which had consistency held low inventory relative to sales over the past 90 days, and may incur low-inventory-level fees.

The fba-inventory-level-health-status metric displays the health status of your inventory at Amazon. The health status of the inventory at FBA is calculated by evaluating your sellable inventory against the recommended minimum level and estimated excess units. Keeping inventory above the minimum recommended level helps sellers improve delivery speeds and avoid the recently announced low-inventory-level fee.
