Launch Announcement: Dangerous Goods support via Shipping V2 APIs

We are happy to announce that Amazon Shipping now allows to ship dangerous goods (DG) for US and UK marketplaces.

What is improving?

Sellers and shippers can now use the existing Shipping V2 APIs to ship DG, by providing additional details to generate shipping labels for certain beauty/cosmetic products and electronics with lithium batteries in limited quantities.

They can even use the Merchant Fulfillment API v0, Seller Central, and Shipper Central, to provide dangerous goods (DG) details when generating shipping labels. (Shipper Central, to provide dangerous goods (DG) details when generating shipping labels. )

Note It's important to note that customers must comply with all applicable laws and regulations to ensure the safe handling and transportation of DG packages.
